Celebrating cultural diversity on GBS Malta campus

Experience a supportive home away from home with state-of-the-art facilities and cultural diversity in the heart of the Mediterranean at GBS Malta.

Imagine walking onto a campus where the buzz of conversation contains a symphony of accents, stories and backgrounds from around the globe.

This is the everyday magic of an internationally diverse educational environment.

For many students, the dream of studying abroad is not just about getting a new qualification; it is about experiencing new cultures, broadening their horizons, and making connections that will last a lifetime. And that is exactly what happens when you pursue your education on the beautiful island of Malta.

The island is known for its blend of ancient history and modern life, but its most dynamic feature is the welcoming community that has developed here over time. This creates a supportive and welcoming multicultural environment in Malta where students do not merely feel like they belong – they feel at home.

It is an immersive experience that goes beyond the textbook, teaching you how to navigate a truly interconnected world.

Your global community awaits

At GBS Malta, the concept of a global community is not just an idea; it is a living reality.

Our campus is a vibrant tapestry of cultures, with students from every corner of the world.

From the sunny shores of Brazil to the bustling streets of India, and from the historic lands of Turkey to the vibrant cultures of Nigeria and Cameroon, our students hail from every corner of the world.

This sheer scale of diversity fosters a truly enriching exchange of ideas and perspectives. When a student from India shares Diwali traditions with classmates from Nigeria, or when a group discussion on global business strategy blends insights from Europe, Africa and South America, real learning takes place.

This inclusive approach is central to our commitment to diversity and inclusion in Malta. The connections made here turn strangers into lifelong friends, creating a network that spans continents.

A taste of home, a world of flavour

Food is a powerful tool for building a sense of community.

We have a coffee shop near to our campus, with its student discounts, the place is a quick spot for diverse groups to grab a bite and bond over casual chats.

Even more meaningful is our shared social space, featuring a kitchenette with all the essentials - a microwave, and fridge. While not a full cooking facility, it's a hub for students to warm up meals, make quick snacks, and gather to share a taste of home and stories from their cultures.

It is a simple act that turns a simple meal into a shared experience, making the campus feel like a true 'home away from home'. This is an example of how cultural diversity at GBS Malta becomes a daily, tangible experience.

Beyond the campus walls

The community you find at GBS Malta does not stop at the campus doors.

The island itself is a living museum, with its rich history, vibrant cities and breathtaking coastlines. Our prime campus location provides easy access to all of it, from the bustling streets of St. Julian’s to the historic walls of Valletta.

The Maltese are known for being friendly and welcoming, which makes it easier for international students to integrate and connect with locals. This blend of quality education and a Mediterranean lifestyle enhance the experience, allowing you to balance your academic journey with adventure.

Think of weekend outings to nearby beaches or local festivals, where new friendships are forged and cultures are shared. These are the kinds of moments that reinforce the idea of a global learning environment in Malta offers and contribute to a feeling of true belonging.

The support you receive from faculty and staff is a key part of this experience, as they work to create a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere. This inclusive approach is central to our commitment to diversity and inclusion in Malta.

One of our students, who came from Colombia, shared that the faculty and staff were 'so amazing' and 'so helpful' from the moment she began the application process. She felt that the school was an 'amazing place to live' and to 'study'.

Another student described GBS Malta as a place where they felt blessed by the help and cooperation of their faculty members and classmates, and that the institution’s 'flexibility' is a key part of his positive experience.

These personal stories illustrate how our campus helps students do more than complete a degree. They graduate with a new perspective, a global network of friends, and the confidence to succeed in a multicultural world.
