Course Overview

Our BSc (Hons) Health, Social Care and Wellbeing degree equips students with the knowledge and skills to thrive in the health and social care sector. The course builds strong foundations in communication, ethics, and research, while exploring the biological, psychological, and social factors that impact health and wellbeing. Students develop expertise in areas such as safeguarding, policy, mental health, and care for healthy ageing. In the final year, learners engage with leadership and management in health and social care, social justice, and evidence-based practice—culminating in a major dissertation project. With real-world case studies and applied learning, students graduate ready to support individuals, families, and communities in a wide range of public, private, and not-for-profit roles in the health and care sectors.
